The Alumni of the Sunrisers Drum & Bugle Corps is as varied as life itself. Among us are a former County Executive, a sitting Criminal Court Judge, and a Grammy Award winning producer/arranger. Many have distinguished themselves in the military or the corporate world. Also included are many distinguished members of the drum corps activity in the fields of arranging, brass and percussion caption heads, drill designers and the like.
Billy Cobham - tenor drummer (196x to 1966) – World famous jazz percussionist.
Chet Doboe - World famous percussionist, creator of the "Hip Pickles" percussion ensemble, author, arranger.
John Sasso - brass arranger/instructor (196x, to 197x) – President, Esprit Corporation.
Robert Gaffney - color guard and brass (196x) – County Executive, Suffolk County, NY.
